Caetana Silva-Dias

Caetana was born in Lisbon, Portugal and started dancing at the age of three. She initiated her ballet training at The National Conservatory Dance School where she subsequently graduated. During her years at the school, she won several prizes in national and international dance competitions such as: Tanzolymp (silver medal in 2015 and bronze medal in 2017, both in the contemporary category) and Youth America Grand Prix (New York City Finalist in 2012 and 2016). She also appeared in various shows performing principal and soloist roles. These included: Don Quixote, Le Corsaire, La Bayadère, La Ventana, The Nutcracker and many others.

After graduating from The National Conservatory Dance School, Caetana joined The State Ballet of Georgia as an apprentice for three months. This is her first season with Ballet Ireland.
