Ainhoa Segrera

Ainhoa was born in Valencia, Spain and starting dancing at the age of ten. She graduated from the Professional Conservatory of Dance Valencia in 2019 and subsequently received scholarships to train at the Academie Princess Grace, American Ballet Theater School and Tanz Academie Zürich.

Ainhoa then moved to Amsterdam to join the trainee program of the European School of Ballet, under the direction of Jean-Yves Esquerre where she had the opportunity to dance a very diverse repertoire including: David Dawson, Balanchine, Bournonville, Anabelle Lopez Ochoa and Cantate 51 by the Béjart Ballet.

In 2020, Ainhoa joined Ballet du Capitole in Toulouse, directed by Kader Belarbi, for their productions of Bayadere and Raymonda. In August 2021, she moved back home and began dancing with Valencia Dancing Forward.

Ainhoa joined Ballet Ireland in 2022 performing in Bold Moves in work by Christopher Bruce and Filipe Portugal. With Ballet Ireland she has also performed at the Edinburgh Fringe and Electric Picnic Festivals in addition to The Glasshouse by Roisin Whelan and Nutcracker Sweeties by Morgann Runacre-Temple.
