Samuel Olariaga Moya

Samuel was born in Alicante, Spain. He began his dance training in his local school and graduated in classical ballet at Alicante’s Conservatory. He furthered his contemporary training at Proyecto GoOD by Asun Noales and the Young Company Gerard Collins.

In 2022, Samuel joined Valencia Dancing Forward where he performed in, amongst other pieces, Jardi Tancat by Nacho Duato and Flux by Zoë Ashe-Browne. In 2024 he was part of Totentanz zu Basel by Richard Wherlock in Switzerland and finished the year joining the Spanish company Otra Danza by Asun Noales performing pieces such as Romeo & Juliet and Al Punto. He also engaged in projects with Laura Macken supported by the Arts Council of Ireland and with Roberto G Alonso supported by the National Theatre of Catalunya.

Samuel joined Ballet Ireland in 2023 and performed in the company’s production of Carmen.
