Emma was born in Newcastle upon Tyne and began her training aged 3 at Marion Lane’s School for Dance. At the age of 12, she was accepted into Elmhurst School for Dance (in association with Birmingham Royal Ballet). Emma subsequently trained both there and at English National Ballet School for seven years and was awarded 1st prize in the choreography competition.
After graduating, she joined the Vanemuine Theatre Ballet Company in Estonia for three years dancing roles such as ‘Clara’ in The Nutcracker, ‘Belle’s sister’ in Beauty & the Beast and ‘Clemence’ in Raymonda. She also completed her BA Honors degree in Professional Practice (Performing Arts).
Other repertoire includes: La Fille Mal Gardee and The Nutcracker with Birmingham Royal Ballet, The Nutcracker with Tivoli Ballet Theatre (Copenhagen) and My First Sleeping Beauty and Swan Lake in the round at the Royal Albert Hall with English National Ballet.
