This is Erriks’a first season with Ballet Ireland.  She has previously performed in ballets including: Indian Maiden in Paul Vasterling’s Peter Pan (2016), Harem dancer in Dennis Spaight’s Scheherazade (2016), leading Villager and Willis in Giselle (2015), Lead Spanish Chocolate and Lead Angel in Robert Mills’ The Nutcracker (2015), both a soloist and principal in George Balanchine’s Who Cares? (2015), soloist in Ronn Guidi’s Trois Gymnopedies (2015), Myrtha in Coralli and Perrot’s Giselle (2014), soloist in Balanchine’s Valse Fantaisie (2014), performed as a soloist in Val Caniparoli’s Songs (2014), the Sugarplum Fairy, Snow Queen, Flower Queen, and Arabian Coffee in Rene Daveluy’s The Nutcracker (2009-2014), in Balanchine’s Serenade (2013), Pas de Trois in Petipa’s Swan Lake (2012, 2013), the Fairy Godmother in Daveluy’s Cinderella (2011), the Enchanted Garden Fairy in Petipa’s The Sleeping Beauty (2010), was cast in Caniparoli’s Violin (2010), as well as appeared in soloist roles in Daveluy’s Romeo and Juliet (2009, 2010), soloist Pirate in Daveluy’s Peter Pan (2009), and many other roles and original ballets created on Ms. Reenstierna-Cates. In addition, she is also a seasoned choreographer, creating pieces in bills alongside works of notable artists, such as Balanchine and Caniparoli.
A California native, Erikka Reenstierna-Cates received her training under Leslie Ann Larson and Rene Daveluy; she started dancing professionally with Central West Ballet in 2009 and in 2015, joined the Oklahoma City Ballet.
