Mario Gaglione

Mario was born in Torre del Greco, Italy. He started his training at Ars Movendi and was later accepted at the Royal Theatre of San Carlo Ballet School of Naples, where he trained for four years. He then moved to London to join the English National Ballet School and danced on tour with ENB2 and with ENB in their production of The Nutcracker.

Upon graduation in 2015, Mario joined Tulsa Ballet II and worked with both the main and second company for three years. His repertory included: The Taming of the Shrew, The Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, Onegin, Dorothy and the Prince of Oz, Swan Lake, Don Quixote, Strictly Gershwin and Cinderella. During his time in Tulsa he also worked in new works by choreographers such as: Ma Cong, Jennifer Archibald, Joshua L. Peugh, Helen Pickett, Annabelle L. Ochoa, Young Soon Hue, Penny Saunders, Ilya Kozadayev, Karen Castleman and Norbert De La Cruz III.

During spring 2018, he danced at the Biennale di Venezia under the direction of Marie Chouinard for the international festival.
