Morgann Runacre-Temple

 

 

Morgann began choreographing at school, winning the Central School of Ballet Choreography Awardin 2002 and 2003. She has been creating work for Ballet Ireland since 2005, making over ten works for the company including four full-length ballets – Cinderella (2009), Romeo & Juliet (2010), Scheherazade (2011), Carmen (2013) and Coppelia (2015).

Elsewhere, Morgann has created works for English National Ballet, The Curve Foundation Dance Company, Ballet Central, The London Children’s Ballet, The Print Room, Images of Dance, Royal Ballet Education, as well as creating her own partnership, ‘Out of Hand Dance’, with Jessica Wright, working specifically in Dance for the Camera. They were commissioned by Channel 4 to make a new short dance film The Try Out.  In 2016 Morgann also created a short film for English National Ballet incorporating elements of their new production Giselle, choreographed by Akram Khan.

Morgann has performed as a dancer for Ballet Ireland, English National Ballet, Rosie Kay Dance Company and the Curve Foundation Dance Company.
