Morgann Runacre-Temple



Morgann began choreographing at school, winning the Central School of Ballet Choreography Awardin 2002 and 2003. She has been creating work for Ballet Ireland since 2005, making over nine works for the company including three full length ballets, Cinderella (2009) Romeo and Juliet (2010)Scheherazade (2011) and Carmen (2013)

Elsewhere, Morgann has created works for The Curve Foundation Dance Company, Ballet Central, The London Children’s Ballet, The Print Room, Images of Dance, Royal Ballet Education, as well as creating her own partnership, ‘Out of Hand Dance’, with Jessica Wright, working specifically in Dance for the Camera. They were recently commissioned by Channel 4 to make a new short dance film The Try Out.  In 2014 Morgann returns to work at the Royal Opera House where she will be creating a new ballet of Peter and the Wolf under the auspices of the Chance to Dance initiative.

Morgann has performed as a dancer for Ballet Ireland, English National Ballet, Rosie Kay Dance Company and the Curve Foundation Dance Company.
