Rodolfo Saraiva

Rodolfo was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and trained at Rhitmus Center of Arts and Movements. His professional career started with Laso Dance Company, Rio de Janeiro, after completing his training in Cuba with Laura Alonso.

In 2006 he joined the company of the Municipal Theater of Rio de Janeiro where he performed in Giselle (Sir Peter Wright) and Onegin (John Cranko). In 2009 he moved to São Paulo and spent seven years at São Paulo Dance Company, directed by Iracity Cardoso and Inês Bogéa, where he performed in ballets by Márcia Haydée, Nacho Duato, Willian Forsythe, Jiri Kylian, August Bournonville and George Balanchine.

He has been training under Renato Paroni since 2010 and also has completed a degree in dance studies at Paulista of arts University.

Rodolfo joined Ballet Ireland in September 2016 and featured as the Prince in The Nutcracker that season. He also performed the role of Albrecht in Ludovic Ondiviela’s Giselle which received critical acclaim earlier this year.
