Thomas Bradshaw

Thomas trained at the Royal Ballet School for eight years joining White Lodge in 2008 and graduating from the Upper School in 2016. As a student, performance credits with the Royal Ballet and Birmingham Royal Ballet included: The Nutcracker, Alice in Wonderland, Giselle and Swan Lake. He worked with many choreographers including Sir Peter Wright, Liam Scarlett, Christopher Wheeldon, Kirsten McNally and David Bintley. Thomas was Head Boy at the Royal Ballet School and on graduation, he was awarded the David Norman prize for leadership. He also attended the Yorkshire Ballet Seminars as a scholarship holder for seven years and he was a finalist in the Young British Dancer of the Year competition in 2013.

Thomas spent his first professional season with Sarasota Ballet performing in George Balanchine’s Jewels. He returned to the U.K. and spent four seasons touring with Vienna Festival Ballet as a soloist. Roles included the Bluebird and Prince Desireé (The Sleeping Beauty), the Prince (Cinderella),Franz (Coppelia) and The Nutcracker. In 2019 he worked with English National Ballet and performed in Christopher Wheeldon’s ‘Cinderella in-the-Round‘ at the Royal Albert Hall.

This is his second season with Ballet Ireland.
