Ella Chambers

Originally from Australia, Ella began dancing at the age of eight at La Vive Classique Academy of Dance in Port Macquarie. At the age of fourteen, she moved to Melbourne to join The Australian Ballet School, where she performed roles including ‘Cupid’ in Don Quixote Act III, and ‘Girlfriends’ in Coppélia.
 
In her graduate year, Ella was invited to join The Royal New Zealand Ballet’s 2018 Nutcracker tour, and she subsequently joined the company as an apprentice in 2019. During her six years with RNZB, Ella performed various roles including ‘Hermia’ in Liam Scarlett’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, ‘Pas de Trois’ and ‘Cygnets’ in Russel Kerr’s Swan Lake, ‘Mara Galeazzi’ in Wayne McGregor’s Infra, and ‘Gretel’ in Loughlan Prior’s Hansel and Gretel.
 
Ella joined Ballet Ireland for their 2025 Cinderella season.
