Igor Person

Igor was born in Paris and began dancing at the age of ten. He trained at the Paris Opera Ballet School before continuing his studies at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, where he graduated in 2019.

He began his professional career with Tivoli Ballet Theatre in Copenhagen, performing in productions including Snow Queen and The Nutcracker. During his time in Denmark, he also worked with the Royal Danish Ballet on Carmen.

In 2023, Igor returned to France and worked as a freelance dancer with the Opéra National de Bordeaux, performing in productions including Giselle, Don Quixote, Notre-Dame de Paris, The Nutcracker, La Sylphide, Le Corsaire and Romeo & Juliet. Alongside his performing career, he developed his own choreographic work, creating the solo Dédale and later co-creating Système à six corps for dancers of the Opéra National de Bordeaux.

In July 2026, Igor performed the title role in Spartacus, choreographed by Peter Agardi and presented at the Roman Theatre of Mérida.

Igor joined Ballet Ireland in 2026.
