Josh Fagan
Josh began his dance training at his local dance studio in Queensland, Australia. At age fifteen, Josh moved to Queensland Ballet Academy, Brisbane, to pursue his dream of becoming a dancer. After the completion of his studies in 2022, Josh joined Queensland Ballet as a Jette-Parker Young Artist, performing many classical works such as Sir Kenneth MacMillan’s Manon, Marius Petipa’s Giselle and also Ben Stevenson’s The Nutcracker as ‘Fritz’.
After his year as a Queensland Ballet Young Artist, Josh moved to Germany to work with Ballet Vorpommern for the 2024/2025 & 2025/2026 seasons. During his two seasons with Ballet Vorpommern Josh performed many Classical and Neo-classical roles such as ‘The Nutcracker/Prince’ in Ralf Dörnen’s Der Nußknacker and ‘Mad Hatter’ in Adonai Lunas’ Alice im Wonderland.
Whilst in Germany, Josh also premiered many works from world-renowned contemporary choreographers, such as Im Lichte by Bryan Arias and Mother by Zoë Ashe-Browne.
Josh joined Ballet Ireland in 2026.
