Koharu Numamoto

Koharu was born in Japan and began her ballet training at the age of five at Ballet Academy Studio Etoile in Mie, Japan. Among her early stage experiences, she performed the role of Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker.

In 2023, she joined Mosa Ballet School in Belgium, where she completed two years of professional training in both classical and contemporary dance. During her time at Mosa, Koharu had the opportunity to work with choreographers such as Dinna Bjørn, Yannick Boquin, Dan Datcu, Andres De Blust and Laura Daelemans.

Her performance experience at Mosa included dancing as a soloist in Snowflakes and Raymonda, La Sylphide (staged by Dinna Bjørn) and as a soloist in Concert (choreographed by Yannick Boquin), performed at the school’s Annual Recital.

Koharu joined Ballet Ireland in 2025.
