Tereza Torova

Tereza was born in the Czech Republic and began dancing at the age of three. At the age of eleven, she commenced her professional ballet training at a private conservatory in Prague. In 2020, she was accepted into the State Dance Conservatory of Prague, where she graduated in 2025 under the guidance of Ljubov Dantchenko. Her development has also been enriched by private coaching with Nikola Márová, principal dancer of the Czech National Ballet.

During her studies, Tereza performed roles such as the Fairy of Spring in Cinderella, Kitri’s Friend in Don Quixote and as a soloist in The Nutcracker. In 2024, she represented the Conservatory at the Budapest Ballet Grand Prix with the Pas d’Esclave Pas de Deux. She has also participated in international competitions including YAGP and Tanzolymp, where she was awarded a bronze medal in 2023 for a contemporary solo, Projection, choreographed by Kristýna Němečková. In addition, Tereza choreographed her own solo, Sandstorm, which featured in several school performances.

Since 2023, she has collaborated with Chemnitz Theatre in their production of Swan Lake, performing regularly with the company.

Tereza joined Ballet Ireland in 2025.
